Thank you!

I'm still relatively experienced in the electronic-music world, though I've been an acoustic multi-instrumentalist for decades.

How's the Allen and Heath? Please give us a little insight as I cant seem to find too much info, especially on the convertors.
It's early going yet... I've only just got her set up and haven't done a proper recording. First tests of recording and eq sound really good, no complaints.

How do you like the Xone 22? I've been thinking to get one, seems to be a perfect 2-channel mixer for little money!

It's pretty nice. No flashy FX besides the filter section, which sounds great. Just a nice, basic, well-built, good-sounding 2-channel mixer from A&H.

Love this thread.

I love the way people are using Live in so many different ways. Live has become so expansive and versatile, and now theres a huge amount of controllers to choose from.

We can cherry pick the bits and pieces of equipment that suit our own needs, and fine tune our hard/soft set-ups to an unprecedented level, at an unprecedented price.

No longer limited by the price of hardware or the capabilities of software, we can now all be bedroom beat makers, all night tweakers, or mad professors, limited only by our imaginations.

OH MY GOD

.... I've got some f***ing JAFFA CAKES IN MY COAT POCKET!

How did you mount that keyboard under the desk? Been thinking about doing that instead of my QWERTY and mouse.

don't know how he did it, but in using my ikea galant tables, i needed a slide out keyboard shelf so i bought one the of ikea 46" x 11" x 3/4" wall shelves and then bought this keyboard shelf hardware from Home Depot.

i'm sure you can figure out the rest.

Exactly, just make sure to buy or round up some scrap wood to adjust the keyboard shelf low enough to let your keyboard pass under the table.
Personally I just bought a piece of raw 1"x6"x4', wood is a bit tougher than composite material they use for laminate shelves.

Nice! How are the bass traps, and did you build them yourself? I got the gear in the living room, so I dont want to fill up the wall corners from the floor to the ceiling. But these looks possible!

And the monitor vibration absorbers, do you notice a big difference compared to the bass traps?
