Opinions would be appreciated. (can you ignore the start and end as it's still a bit of a WIP )

All Ableton on this track. It's is a weee bit of a shift from the funk stuff I've been doing. It's a kind of dark, deep house track. The track has a garagey style bass, ample percussion and the staple gooey filtered synths. Also, you get bonus points if you can figure out what I'm saying for the vocals.

O I wish I could make a mix this crispy with both space and density! Love the way the cymbals grow into place.
The bass is very nice, I dont know how to get it like that, so muck body but without taking over.

Thanks guys, I actually had it played out at a club last night. Whooops! The bass is tooo huge! It's all you could hear for almost the entire song! lol

I have to go do something about that. Its a good thing i have a sense of humor and figure i can learn from this... or I would have been a weeping mess after hearing it there...

So then my comment on the bass must sound crazy but my explanation is that I usually have to listen through my tiny headphones, guess they are just bad in the right way to compensate in this case - it sounded very balanced!
This makes my worry about how my own stuff will sound on a real system
