Timestretching in Sampler

Plus also a preference toggle to allow all Simpler instances to be automatically converted to Samplers without having to manually select Convert Simpler->Sampler per individual instance... Would be a great option for people who own Sampler

Add to Favorites (Logic like), A boolean value checkbox on the sample browser to the left, then add a #4 folder for showing Favorites only

If it doesnt crash all the time I'll be delighted! No improvments and I'll be going back to Logic or Cubase for producing. I can't use Ableton at all for live DJ'n anymore as I cant trust it for not crashing during a gig. So bug free please. Also a tempo warped sampler. Improvements to the sound quality of the EQ, Filter and other factory effects. FIX THE BUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let me DJ again!

better improve MIDI support and extend arrangement view functionality to the level of a decent sequencer (Logic/Cubase/Sonar) - envelopes, better automation handling, sample-level editing of waveform data etc. -- all for faster worlflow!

+1 for the most requested feature - recording automation envelopes in session view.

+1 for support of recording samples over 2 GB.

- It would be cool to have multiple loop positions within a clip. E.G. when you are playing a track live, you can use a launchpad to trigger any one of these in any order. If a new track is mixing in, a vocal can be continually looped while the other track comes in.

- a seperate arrange like cubase/logic

- enhanced audio editing capabilities like cubase/logic

- a new audio file produced when you re-sample a sound

Freeze groups / tracks which receive audio from other tracks.

I quite often do processing on groups of tracks and when I start to max out my CPU it would be nice to be able to freeze the group

Like I've been requesting for the last three versions of Live, timestretch in sampler, as well as a knob to scrub through the sample, like simpler (like maybe a single sample mode in sampler so we don't lose simpler features).

Freezing tracks with instruments only, allowing effects to be active on the track. I believe Cubase does this. Better yet would be to be able to chose which effects were part of the freeze. Then you could freeze the effects like eq and compression and keep others free that you may want to tweak.

More than eight macros in a rack please (tabs or whatever).

I won't bother to mention recording automation in session. I'm pretty sure they've heard that one.

erm, without reading through all the great requests, i have encountered this: wanted to check out some samples the other day , like a whole set of em... aaand wanted to use sampler which i havent in a loong time..
please add clip warping functionality to the samples imported into sampler. - i can imagine that this is easily achieved.

Searched and couldn't find it - sure its been mentioned before though. If so, consider this a +1:

Drum racks: right click on a pad: choose "render to new pad" in context menu.

So I could bounce long chains of layered samples and effects to a single sample in a new pad.

I'd use this feature constantly.

I wish that the tempo doesnt start after clicking on tap

I want to ask for this feature for 8.1.6, not for 9 because it's a feature already:

Put Zoom feature outside, not only in Preferences, maybe next to the transport bar or cpu usage, it's a pain in the butt to have to go to preferences to zoom in or zoom out, call me lazy but it will be awesome to have it handy, by instantly zoom from the main screen.

I somehow love Live as it is, maybe 2 things to do:

a built in maximizer
and the ability to drag the mixer out of the main window for dual screen view, to have like the mixer on the one screen and the main application on the other.
