no but i did see some video where you can play Xbox One games on your Windows 10 PC as long as both are on the same LAN. 10 recognizes the controller and all. definitely want to check that out just, for grins if nothing else.

Seems like Microsoft did it this time. But I'm still a bit worried about the privacy issues:

I believe that GOW: Ascension is on it's way to PS4. That game is big, 34GB download size with 80GB requirement for installation.

That would be cool but Sony Santa Monica needs to get cracking on a new game. Maybe already are but they’ve been really good about keeping their mouth shut which is near to impossible for game developers to do years in advance of a game release.

i only have to have one to KNOW which one is better.
when you purchase your new XBox One, i recommend the charging kit for the controller.

because i own an Xbox.
and as a gamer, my opinion is FACT... no matter how far out of my ass it comes from.
also, games should be changed according to my exact specifications or they suck.*

Its all about the controller form factor which illustrates what big pampered princesses we've all become. My coworker takes the wallet out of his pocket and leaves it on his desk "because its uncomfortable".

Based on those controller pics... I can tell that the PS4 is made for three types of people...
Small children
Women
Lady boys

I think previous gen consoles were all about exclusives you could only play on 1 platform. Doesn’t seem to be about that as much now. It’s all about which is the better media hub and for a short time, backward compatibility. I’ll concede the backward compatibility hat to Xbox because Playstation Now is HORRIBLE. You can’t even make it through a game trailer video on their network without constant stop buffering. I don’t know what makes them think their network can handle streaming entire games.

I would like to here their personal experience and which one is better than the other.

I have both.
I use the Xbox One about 99% of the time.
And my Xbox 360 the other 1%.
I got the PS4 because for a bit there it looked like it might edge out the X1 in performance for the remainder of this console generation. There have definitely been some games that look better on the PS4, GTA V for example. But now that the Kinect is optional it has opened some extra processing power that dev's were having to allocate to it and I think the performance gap will be closed.
Besides that it comes down to the controller and how the X1 works with other equipment. I was never a fan of any of Sony's Dual Shock controllers, but the 4 is the best yet and I feel like I can actually play a game with that controller.
But the X1 controller is just a refinement of the 360 controller, which was basically perfect, IMO.
The final deciding factor is that the X1 has an HDMI thru, which means I can have my AppleTV or cable box go into it and that becomes your "TV" channel. Makes for very easy switching between games and other media.
I pretty much just have the PS4 for exclusives at this point (Uncharted Collection, Uncharted 4, Last of Us Remastered, etc.).
And, yes, the backwards compatibility with 360 games coming in November is huge.

The Windows 10 and Xbox thing is very interesting. But I'm tied to PS+ with so many free games on it, that I plan to keep the PS3 for a good long time.

IMO, with the PS4 and PS+ Sony is going overboard with the Indie developers. Not much substance being offered for the PS4 with PS+ and if I wanted to play a causal game I’ll play it on my iPhone or iPad. I let my subscription lapse in November and nothing has inspired me to renew. I might get excited about an upcoming offering but when it drops the reviews say its shit.
Fuck, I complain a lot in this thread. I’m like the Mac user who has to chime in on every PC topic.

He3..I prefer PC for gaming, but Mac is having a healthy progress now. For casual gaming, it's handheld for me. With so many free games in the collection, I'm even thinking about getting a Vita. If they ever release a newer version with a large built-in storage and other next gen goodness within the same price, I'm in.
