you'll see "indexing options" at or near the top of the list.
open that.
click the "Advanced" button.
Delete and rebuild your index (when you plan on not using the PC for an hour or 2).
walk away and eat a sandwich while you play Angry Birds on your iPad.
thank me later.

You’ve been lurking in this thread this whole time just waiting for the moment you could share some Windows IT expertise.
Well, was it worth it? Was it everything you were hoping for?
Re: iPad
When people post pictures in this forum my WINDOWS PC at work won't display them most of the time. So I have no idea how clever the above is.
I'll get back to you when I check on my MAC at home.

I really hate the new IE at work. They tried to emulate the elegant simplicity of Apple by removing the menu bars. No, dipshits. You don’t remove absolutely everything. Just don’t clutter it with shit people rarely use.
Then they went the completely opposite direction with the latest version of Office. “Hey, let’s replace all the most common functions in the menu bars with the least common functions. Maybe people will start using them.”
Re: iPad
i fail to fathom the elegance regardless of the vendor. on a scale of 1 to 10, with ten being the hardest, this is like a -4.
as far as Office goes... i tend to agree. grandmas and grandpas everywhere were finally learning what the words File, Edit, View, Insert and Help were doing up there all that time only to lose them the instant they could finally focus their eyes in that direction.
if the "designers" of these types of things could spend a month at a call center trying to walk someone through the menus by phone... they'd fucking think twice before making some of these menu and layout decisions.

I'm going to write them a strongly worded letter berating them for trying to turn iPad thread favorite H2Only into a total tool by association. I have your back, big guy!
