No doubt half that is going to support the 8576 social welfare programs.
My bill in fucking Chicago was half that.
I don't know how you cats can stand to fucking live there.
I hope the sunshine is worth it when that fucking Comcast bill hits $350 in 18 months.

No doubt it's subsidized from the INSANE amount of tax you chaps pay. :P

That said, Europe really has nothing on California at this point. Someday very soon as those ponce English rock stars who moved to California ages ago - in large part to get away from the British Tax Man - will be heading right back.

Now do you understand why I live with a roommate LSZ? :x

Even if I moved to a 600 square foot studio for $1,200 a month I would still get charged $150 a month for TV and internet. :x

But this is the price you pay for living in Jobs Country.

I see, Bro. I see.

If it weren't for Apple and the enormous amount of taxes it pays to the Socialist Republic of California, the quality of life there would be the equivalent of an Eastern European nation.

Then you guys go and hire that goofball Jerry Brown all over again because....you weren't paying enough in taxes already. lol.

Exit even more businesses to Texas and the Carolinas.

He did bang a young(ish) Linda Ronstadt, however, so he's not all bad.

i love how we have politicians in office (right now) that might have a heart, but have inherited a festering turd from their predecessor (G.W. Bush, Arnold Scharwzanactor) and if they don't wave a magic wand to fix everything immediately while simultaneously keeping everyone happy, it's spun as their fault.

keep the faith there LSZ, i'm sure Ron Paul is gonna make it.

You cannot POSSIBLY be that naive, right?

Oh, they have a heart alright. As long as you got the fucking cash to make their dreams come true, they love every single inch of you.

Just so's I'm perfectly clear: I'm all about State's Rights. If California sees fit to support neverending fucking social programs, free in-state tuition, endless fees and taxes for the most basic of shit, go for it! THAT'S EXACTLY the kind of democracy in the USofA that Ron Paul supports, God Bless Him. :x

Q. How much longer will you and beats be able to actually live there in any lifestyle even remotely resembling a civilized one? In 20 years, how many roommates is beats going to need in order to make ends meet? This of course is long after his Apple Habit has died. Actually, as soon as that's threatened he's going to give stringtapper a call to check on rooms to let in Texas.

It should also be mentioned that just about every costly and sometimes business killing environmental regulation on the planet is first imposed in CA. And even if it proves to have zero impact, but somebody is making mad money off of it, it won’t get repealed. :x

Jesus fuck. Every time there’s a national news story about the average price of gas possibly reaching …. soon, CA is already well past that. :x

And honestly, as my natural age progression dictates I do sort of long to live in bumfuck with some shacks and acreage to be loud, but the jobs in those areas couldn’t possibly support my Apple habit. :x

And let me remind you…

http://www.redorbit.com/news/technology ... tin-texas/
Apple has announced plans to build a new, $300-plus million dollar campus in Austin, Texas that will reportedly be second in size only to the company’s worldwide headquarters in Cupertino, California.
