I don't think so. Here's a look at Bitwigs Window Set up:pencilrocket wrote: That is the point. Making nearly 1:1 poduct of other perticular product is called cloning here. Using and implimenting other companys' ideas for their one product in deffernt way is common. We aren't arguing about this from the begining. You are gereralizing things too much, and loosing definition of the word plagiarism, and loosing the point of the arguments.

I see no Drum Machine at same place and same uniform in the Android devices.Machinesworking wrote:I don't think so. Here's a look at Bitwigs Window Set up:pencilrocket wrote: That is the point. Now Ableton:
Iphone:
Android:
Seriously you cannot tell me that Android is not a clone but Bitwig is??? Even on a surface level the similarities are there.
And the differences. Notice Bitwig has a knife and eraser tool, plus what suspiciously looks like multiple choices for a metronome, one of the most absolutely retarded parts of Live, and I'm not being mean by saying that, a metronome that has no control over the accent is next to useless.
That's OK you also didn't notice the message icon looking almost the same, even the same dammed color, with a word balloon as an icon even, or that the camera icon is also a lens but with a shutter closing on it, or that the mail icon is a white letter.... the list goes on, including the layout of the icons. You basically ignored every freaking similarity between the Android OS and iOS because it doesn't fit tidily into your argument. If you think the Android OS isn't a clone, then you would have to also think that Bitwig isn't, and in many ways considering Bitwig people developed Live, it's less of a clone than Android is, because what Google did was straight copy iOS period, not hire their developers.pencilrocket wrote: I see no Drum Machine at same place and same uniform in the Android devices.
Android is developed from far before its released. You lost your agarument again. They are competing from the begining. Are BW and Ableton?Machinesworking wrote:That's OK you also didn't notice the message icon looking almost the same, even the same dammed color, with a word balloon as an icon even, or that the camera icon is also a lens but with a shutter closing on it, or that the mail icon is a white letter.... the list goes on, including the layout of the icons. You overstate and generalize things here again. If you think the Android OS isn't a clone, then you would have to also think that Bitwig isn't, and in many ways considering Bitwig people developed Live, it's less of a clone than Android is, because what Google did was straight copy iOS period, not hire their developers.

I think your phrases will be rather for you.You really need to learn how to pick your battles.
You are just trying to deffend your "they are not clone because all people copy someone's work" logic. If you had stuck to saying Android was a clone and not a natural development on Apples ideas, then you would have a valid arguing point, but you went ahead and tried to defend the Android Apple "clones". So you betray yourself as having brand loyalty devoid of logic. Again, I'm fine with Bitwig being ex-developers of Live bringing their own take on a performance DAW, just like I'm fine with Google copying iOS.
