Mur. I tried to go the site - requiring a password now?

I just don't get it. Why does anyone, especially those on this particular forum, want to get a dedicated piece of hardware, when laptop, software, and midi-controller seem to be able to do all that?

I want more options, not less. I want less gear that does more.

Buying dedicated stuff at this point seems ass backwards to me.

But my pie can taste like cake if I want it to, where as some people's cakes can only taste like cake.

with hardware there are no drivers, no driver issues, no blue screens, no crashes, no updates, no bugs, NO LATENCY, no reboots, no bullshit. turn on the power, you're making beats in under 10 seconds.

all gear, hardware and software is welcome in my home, just none of the apple bullshit, leave that shit at the doorstep.

Tone -

I don't deal with any of those things. In fact, I don't even turn it on anymore - its just always on, ready to go.

Sadly, my set up's heart would be left at your doorstep.

But, I see your point. I guess. I don't think its a good reason, but I see your point.

Beat Kangs are tools. no price, no real demo, just some asshat with an attitude, seriously clueless. I liked the one comment about letting the product speak for itself, the mpc wasn't a hip hop machine until that community embraced it on its own. 'grillz'... wegro please!!!
I have to say, they could be a tad better about representing their company and products in a positive light. Ahh well.
