This is exactly why you save money buying one mac rather than a PC for everyday use, and a PC for making music.

That is of course unless you run OSX on your PC, which I do and it is quite nice.

i had a pc for years (about 10 i think) and have never had a virus. still think the mac is a fuck sight less stressful overall though

incorrect. There are more than enough tools to keep a PC 100% safe. One place I worked at had about a 30 second gap from the time you plugged a virgin machine to the network, to the time that a port scanning virus picked it up and installed itself. We installed decent tools, and never had a single infection.

The whole 'disconnect a pc from the internet otherwise it wont be safe' is just ignorance. It hasnt been true since about 2001.
