and what is this suppose to do?

does it actually get you high or relax you?

Marijuana gets you high and relaxes you as well my friend. But Vaporizing uses the process of "convection" to extract the THC from the Marijuana plant. Smoking is "combustion" and burns the plant to extract the chemical but also extracts other harmful carcinogens in the process. According to norml maps tests vaporizing involves only 5 chemicals where smoked marijuana can contain up to 200 harmful chemicals. It is also more cost effective. Now smoking cigarettes is completely pointless I would suggest vaporizing marijuana instead.
 :? you had to go get me jonesing......I have been on the wagon....now I read a post like that, and I'm ready to
to blaze......vaporizing in style.

I don't step outside for a fag to get high... I do it because I like the sting in my throat and watching the smoke drift upwards.

Weed just makes me tired and stupid. Completely useless drug. The whole point of cigarettes is that they don't really do anything. Except they're fantastic.

I say again:

Wraith of wraiths, dim lights dividing,
Purple, grey, and shadow green,
Goddess, Dream-grace, Nicotine.
Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

using the nicotine patch was an eye-opener as to the power of the substance. i learned that i had to apply one in the morning. the first couple of times I tried it at night, and could not sleep because my entire arm was tingling and throbbing because I was not moving around

You can also have really trippy dreams when on patches, i remember being the pinball in a pinball machine, but the machine was actually my head. Patches also give you quite a buzz, in the first week anyway...

138 days and counting without any contact with a cigarette!
Don't even get cravings even when i drink which i am suprised about, as i've tried to give up a few years back and every day was torture.

Woke up one morning late November and thought to myself "i'm never smoking again" and that was it! Smoked for 14 years aswell.

I started smoking 13 years ago and I'm currently on my 4th or 5th time quitting. The longest I had quit for was my very first time, going for 4 years without a smoke. From there it was on and off for months at a time and it's been almost a year and a half without a cigarette now. I really think I've kicked it this time since my wife and I unintentionally quit right around the same time and feel like I have more motivation to not smoke since we're kind of in this together. Also, we started going to the gym and working out together, and that feels extra great without nicotine.

Congrats to everyone with a success story!

Smoker for 40 years here. Why? Because some days it's the only thing that stops me from choking the shit out of people who richly deserve it. YMMV...
