They must have changed it for the APC, and they must have locked it down... maybe you should send them an email.

it freezes for me when i click inside arrangement view for at least 30 seconds... very annoying
Im on 8.0.2
Also had trouble uninstalling 8.0.1 with the INSTALL.LOG file so i had to manually delete 8.0.1 files and now when i go to open a shared live set on the website it looks for the 8.0.1 program that i deleted because i set share to open 8.0.1 but it doesnt exist anymore!...
Does anyone know how to change the default version of ableton that the link on the ableton website in the share area open live in?
I set it by default to open with the 8.0.1 exe file but that file isnt on my computer now.

Actually, I've found that the Axiom tutorial is now visible in version 8.0.2. It didn't work in 8.0.1, but it does in this latest release.

Where can I get the beta updates? I'm getting an invalid product ID problem on a set I spent a lot of time on. Also, when will 8.2 be released?

'Sup.
This update included a fix for the bug "Invalid product ID" - a dialogue message that would pop up and prevent the occasional project/set from opening.
I am running Live 8.1 on Mac OSX and just got this message.
Any suggestions on how to recover the set (and prevent this from happening in the future?). I've already sacrificed two live sultanas to appease the software powers that be...
Many thanks, Ableton brethen

So I did this bug fix for the invalid id thing, now one of my sets that has only instruments from instrument rack, sampler and simpler is unable to save/export because its saying upon opening that the set contains unauthorized instrument collision and analog, which are in no way present in the set. Any help is greatly appreciated.
