Hello,

I use a Tascam US-122 (a USB device). Simple and serves my purposes well. I am chiefly a guitar player so it has a "guitar Line" input, which is nice. I don't know if the MAudio Firewire 410 has one. If it does then maybe I'd consider buying one, though I have heard the drivers are a bit dodgy.

Why? It sounds like you're very pleased with your setup?

Well Machinate, initially I thought for the convenience of extra ins and outs and I believe that firewire has better latency. On the otherhand, the latency with the US-122 is pretty good (especially with the driver update), so it probably isn't really worth the extra expense. Plus I can get around the extra in and out problem anyway.
So I guess why bother when what I have is already good enough? So, no I won't get a 410. I'll stick with what I have.

Does anybody have any experience with this one?
