I've never hid behind an alias on this forum. Do you remember the whole Josh Von debacle? I didn't need an alias to be a dick then and i certainly don't need one now. (PS, it turns out i was right and that guy was a scumbag. I'm still waiting for my group apology from everyone that defended him and acted like i was crazy.)

I would definitely still be making fun of the OP for posting a "ban" thread, it's about as immature as you can get, and that should be pointed out IMO. Do you need the crowd to back you if you don't like some person on the interwebs? Do you think it's a positive way to exorcise a person from an internet forum? or is it needless attention whoring, and does it point out that maybe the OP needs to shut off the computer and maybe interact with humans in the real world possibly a little more than they are?

There have been control freaks that tried to get you to leave, tried to get bounce to go away etc. It's stupid. Pointing that out is in not me trying to control behavior, more like pointing out the emperor has no clothes. Regardless of the person IMO, ban threads are lame.

That is exactly why he was banned. Look back on the threads, he accused them of selling a DAW with worse sound quality than the others, and used his 'studies' to try to prove it. Studies that had no scientific method at all, at the point he was banned, dom pretty much stated as much. The thing that separated him from regular bad science throw out here was the shear number of posts he dedicated to attacking different parts of Live, pretty much all of them.

Partially right, he came back after that, and continued as some other lame ass name, until they banned him for being far too thick headed and very possibly spreading outright lies about Ableton code.
