As the prize is merely the choice of next sample I hardly think it's worth worrying about a popularity contest if it isn't anonymous, whatever...

It's your idea though, so I have removed my link but, tbh:

I'm out.
Hey Mr. Russ Why should the Anonymus Polling be competition instead of Fun? Quite strange that worry over this and saying by the next sentence that the "Prize is merely the chioce of the next sample". I tend to think that this will only be about learning to use Ableton in ways i did not think about before. i know i still have to learn a lot :)

just my 2 cents and mos def no offense.

Cheers

BTW: I asked before all Styles and genres or one named? Could be funny to turn a happy hardcore sample into a tango...or at least find yourself trying that
No offense taken.

I made a track, I posted it up, the rules get changed and I get asked to take it down. I've taken it down.

My feeling is that I have been asked to take it down over fears of a popularity contest Or, more subliminally reading between the posts that Hurling Dervishes unfounded suspicions that I am in fact CPerezz seems to be spreading to other forum members.

And frankly that fucks me off more than anything, so I am out.
THE MODS ON THIS FORUM SHOULD STEP UP AND PROVE THAT YOU ARE NOT CPEREZZZ. IT'S NOT THAT HARD TO CONFIRM.

Ahoy mateys, let's steer this good ship Lollipop back to calmer seas...

this is a cool idea. my calendar is a bit tight, but i might try to bang out a beat using that crazy sample. to be clear, what date/time is the big deadline?

same here!

hey, Mr. Dervish, greetings from a fellow colonist...i was born in lovely Nashua and grew up in a bunch of little towns in Southern NH. we live in the hills of western MA now, a couple hours to the southwest. much like NH, it's a tad quiet, but if you can make your own fun, it's a beautiful place to live. digging your tunes, btw!

yeah dude that reminds me that i've been procrastinating putting some stuff up online. i keep saying that i'm gonna deal with it, then i sit down at my computer, start mucking about in Live, and before i know it, hours have passed and all i've done is kick out some crazy beats and tweak a bunch of knobs. shit is too addictive!

i really should just throw some stuff out there. maybe tomorrow...
