it'd be interesting to find out if he clears none/some/all of his samples.

i wonder if dilla cleared his? imagine how long it would have taken to clear 'donuts'

the dumbest thing anyone would ever write about is which samples they have and haven't cleared. it would be a laundry list for nebulae to sue by.

pretty ridiculous question to ask.

There is an RBMA podcast with Cut Chemist, in which he talks about his methods, regarding use of samples. For the Juarrisic 5 albums he was able to get away without clearing all the samples as they were disguised under an mc, but for his solo, instrumental albums he had to be more vigilante in choosing to (or choosing not too) clear his samples.
