So on the roadmap I was planning to allow you to upload multiple files per device.

However in thinking about this more I thought of another solution which may be good enough. Maybe I will allow zip files but enforce quotas on the size of file you can upload as zip based on how many other devices you've shared.

So if you're a user who's shared 10 .amxd devices you can upload zips larger than 2 megs but If you're a user who's shared less than 10 you can't.

Something like that. I'll think more on this.
I have an idea which may be easier to implement - It's just a suggestion though!

How about only being able to upload/link zipped files as support to an existing .amxd device listing. At the moment you could effectively do the same thing by utilising the URL field to link to support files hosted externally. It may be a big ask to try and get people to upload 10 devices before they can share a device with support files.

My 10 cents...
Well you could do that now too by just putting whatever URLs you want in the description.

I don't know for sure, but I would guess that MOST people's devices plus supporting images and .js would still be under 2mb. So in my scenario even a new user that hasn't uploaded 10 devices yet can STILL upload a zip which is probably big enough. I mean preset files are really tiny. The largest file in the library today is only 584K and that's a pretty complicated sequencer which has frozen .js in it.

How big is the zip file you want to upload? Is it under 2mb?

I must have been suffering from temporary dyslexia, I though you said after you've uploaded 10 .amxd files you could upload zips no larger than 2 meg in size.

Must learn to read properly!

So the current upload engine doesn't stop you from uploading compressed files it just puts a 2meg limit on the upload? Seems perfectly reasonable to me. If somebody needs more space than that they can link to the external files.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Also added screenshot support today.

Feel free to upload screenshots of devices you already shared using the "edit device" feature and report and issues to me. Thanks!
