already had live and max so was pretty cheap for me, bought it straight away.

was a bit disappointed when i started using the beta because the API has hardly expanded from when i was doing the python stuff, but i've thought of a few ideas since then that will keep me busy. like a remote control for android devices and creating a mix A/B (or really a mix preset) tool. so while im mixing something i can just store all the track fader levels, then try something else, store that and compare the results at the press of a button (from my HTC Hero...)

also because i've paid i've earnt the right to whine about stuff i want them to add :D

I've just been learning C language for two months

I'm really attracted with M4L but with job+study+music I'm whole busy right now.
Sure a day could come I'd make the step for M4L_ I'm not hurry

as far as i'm concerned - most of the patches are from Pluggo, innit?
including buffer shuffler, which is a reworked version of a patch from pluggo as well

guys, don't wait for... make yours :)
it is just a word about the fact max for live is designed for all creators and WE have to build those that fit the most with us :)

same here - a dream came true.
Live is the a perfect engine running max-patches, since the hosting of AU-plugins was not possible and the vst~ -object was not working perfectly.

exactly!
I'm not really for proprietary software (vs opensource)
but I need a reliable stuff. with a support. with performances and ... Live/M4L is the right couple.
more, there is a big community here and Ableton guys like to work with us too :)

it was a while I dropped VSTi...
I just waited the right thing and it has been released!

Questions.....

mm yeah. i will buy it when the price drops and when its stable enough for a release.
hell even live 8 isnt stable enough yet, and they want me to shell out 2.5k swedish for an addon thats not stable either?

i hardly think so.

Still waiting for my license, so I haven't used it much outside of being overwhelmed during the beta. I think I'll slowly mess with the tutorials initially, but I doubt I'll likely get really deep into until more bugs have been ironed out.

Bought it as soon as it was available (was checking the www once every hour on the launch day until finally it was there!).

Funny thing is, I won't have time to really mess with it until new years.. But just wanted to give my modest monetary support ASAP :)

i am waiting for a runtime version or a massive drop in prices. i swear, i will never get an early adaptor anymore. i lost too much money. all the new customers get their personal special price offer while each first day user pays and pays for his loyality. every second year we get a 30 euro coupon to pay for the next betatest version. the biggest problem is, in europe we pay much more than in the us region. no way! enough is enough. hope 8 suite will be rock solid soon. there are many wonderful vst plugins from other companies - and download versions give us europeans the chance to pay dollar prices and pay via paypal in us music shops. i try to be a producer. i am no guinea pig and time is money or life style. :!:

I haven't bought it yet. The Beta was, as expected, quite overwhelming with all the possibilities. Something like Max/MSP is dangerous for me because I spend way more time tweaking patches than actually using them. That's obviously not a problem with the software but rather an issue with my own obsessive tendencies

I'm honestly still finding a lot of new life in the Suite instruments, so M4L is just going to be overkill at this point. I think I'll break down and grab it when the library of forumite-developed devices grows too big to ignore.
