I've been looking to replace the crappy keyboard I own with a decent one for ages... just never quite found one I like. But I'm an NI fanboy, so I'd probably buy a piece of poo on a stick if they waved it at me.

I heard they're canceling NAMM in favor of everyone appreciating what they have, learning it, teaching your fellow man, and remembering that you couldn't do half that shit for twice the money 5-10 years ago. So to switch it up this year they're all supposed to collab and fix the shit that doesn't work properly across all platforms and manufacturers instead of throwing new versions at us...

Holy f*ck, i'd just like software that works, syncs, applications that can send midi to and from each other, rewire that's sample accurate for midi. 64 bit ableton.

I wish they would actually just do what steinberg did a few years ago and what apple did with logic - start from a new code base rather than tacking on stuff and making it worse. . .

I have more problems with live 8 than any other software.

Aside from live I cannot believe that there isn;t a way to send sample accurate midi between programmes.

I am getting sick of computers.

But I love the sounds of the vst's at the moment. . .

I'd love to see new REAL engines like yamaha SU700 / RS7000, emu MP7/XL7...

perhaps with usb/firewire links... (daisychainable firewire stuff...)

controller are cool, but you need to setup things "underneath"...

I was at a friend's home saturday, and wanted to "gig" with him, with my present setup (live, controllers...) but without my present songs, and I was totally unable to get a single sound out without passing hours setting up the stuff... (preparing racks, midi assignements, choosing sounds, creating loops, midi clips...)

I'm tired of all the midi control hypeness

actually, there is one thing i would love to see in general... way more choices of powercore / uad / focusrite liquid mix type cards for laptops... maybe even just a 'free host' a la receptor... for vst / au plugs... so you can run a bucket load of really heavy plugs... on the road.

and really small & light...

more of those would maybe also bring the prices a bit down...?

What they don't tell you is that it takes a week to set it up and it only works on your system because the plugs card is also a dongle that registers your MAC* address.
