well, at least i know mac users are dump pc users, else they wouldn't have had to run to the "so much easier to use and such" macs

Sorry to everyone for starting this thread.
I was in a mood before I left for work, didn't even expect anyone to give this the time of day.
What I find most interesting are those who use both Mac and Pc.
I just bought my daughter a laptop with windows7, not a high end computer by any means.
So I wanted to get a look at it and make sure it was in working order and everything, and I must say, I am so
glad I made the transition to Mac. I really want to like pcs, but they just don't do it for me.
I find the whole expierence of using a Mac so much more enjoyable.
In all, I just feel blessed to be able to still find enjoyment making music.
God bless you all and hope that the creative muse smiles warmly.

because macs come in pretty colours and you don't need to work out how to use two mouse buttons

How about, Macs are forward thinking, innovative, user friendly, seamless in nature and design ( FROM THE LOVELY UNIBODY TO THE MAGNETIC POWER ADAPTER, THE MULTI-FINGER TOUCH PAD, THE KEYBOARD THAT FEELS LIKE A MILLION DOLLARS, NEED I GO ON?)
OK, I will. How about the battery life, the OS that works right out of the box, core audio.
No worries about anti viruses or Nortons.
I can plug any midi controller into any usb port and not have to worry if it's the right one.
Ah, shit.
Thinking about it, when I was using a PC, the last thing I wanted to do, was turn it on to record or use a vst, I knew it would be like a chore. No enjoyment.
More time tinkering defraging, and matainence then any kind of work.
Pcs shouldn't even be allowed to make music. They're good for games and spreadsheets. So there.

I knew how to use a Pc, you have to learn quick if you plan on doing any music at all.
I've had a Mac for almost a year now and not once did I ever need to tweak anything.
When it's time to do any kind of music on my Mac, it seems to disappear as a computer and becomes part of the studio, an instrument in it's own right. My Pc never came close.
Who knows, maybe Windows 14 might turn it all around(he he) until then, spreadsheets and video games.
Plus you get stickers...
