Overpriced minimal-producer wet dream nonsense. Can it still NOT chromatically sample in a traditional manner? In 2010? >.< If you want a box that'll play your Live-made loops, and be solid on the road, and you're prepared to pay for it - FAIR PLAY. But I don't see this as a compositionally-useful tool at all.

Agree with the above poster. $1,400 is simply too much money. I'm sure it will be a great unit and hats off to Elektron (and other manufacturers) for still producing dedicated hardware samplers but the price point scares me away. I was really hoping this came in at $999.

Just another atempt to make hardware looking as would it make sense in a digital world. Outside nice inside old idealogy smelling like the 80s.......... 8O

They have 8 audio tracks + 8 midi tracks, BUT do they have scenes like Live?

In the demos the same loop is always on and on...they do little changes in the loop, but don't change to a different loop.
