You ruin it for yourself with your unfounded irredeemably retarded hate. Let it go dude, the hate - it's like you're standing there with this hot, dripping, stinking gob of cat shit in your hand just waiting to throw it at someone - but not understanding that in the mean time you are the one standing there with cat shit in your hands.McQ714 wrote: i hate apple and macs with a passion because of people like you that would suck Jobs' cock and lick his sweaty toes if you had the chance. the products are decent but the fact that they are way overpriced just ruins it for me.
That's what hate and resentment is. 9 out of 10 the people you hate or resent don't have the slightest clue, meanwhile you are sitting there all hateful and shit. Why do that to yourself?
Every time you go to the cafe with your HP or whatever, those prissy mac owners that you think are sneering at you, snickering, and judging you.... well, truth is they are doing home work, working on a presentation, or whatever. The important thing is that they could give 2 shits about you and your HP. Not because they are ignorant or snooty, but because they genuinely do not give a fuck.
Nobody cares.
Your hate is like cat shit. let it go.

there it is right there... did everyone see it???smutek wrote:Every time you go to the cafe with your HP or whatever, those prissy mac owners that you think are sneering at you, snickering, and judging you.... well, truth is they are doing home work, working on a presentation, or whatever. i will not take my computer to a cafe to do anything. in fact i don't even call it a cafe.. it's a fucking coffee shop. are we in France???
i do not care if a mac owner sneers, but you would sure like me to care just so that your point is validated. No!!! i work in a world where macs have no place. ever try to take a mac to a construction site? how about a truck stop? those are the two industries i work in. go ahead and rant all you want while sipping your grande half-caff vanilla latte with raspberry syrup with your pinky held high all while working on a presentation that shows the executive piss-ants how much of a sissy the mac-loving world really is and making them wish to god they had enough balls to be in a real man's industry and not have some lame pointless job in which they have to suck the boss' cock just to move up the corporate ladder.
they are indeed prissy. but that's not what bothers me most. and i could care less if they sneer, snicker, or judge me. it's the fact that they are stupid sheep. they say that macs are intended for the creative individuals. is the creativity fog within so thick that it clouds their judgment from the fact that they just spent their entire tax refund on a piece of gear they could've gotten for half the price if only they didn't care about the glowing apple on the back? a piece of gear that not only does it cost more, it ultimately gets the same results as the cheaper PC laptop. OS X does not sound warmer than Windows!!!
the question here become this... why is it so important to have that glowing apple on the back??? how fucking stupid do you have to be to not realize that you paid twice as much for computer components than you had to??? if the OS X operating system generally costs less than Windows, why are the computers more expensive? is there an 8-ball of coke waiting for you in the CD slot of a MBP??? is the protective sheet on the display actually LSD??? there is no proof that OS X is more stable than Windows, it does not run nearly as many programs as Windows, Windows systems can be built to run a lot faster than Macs, and Windows systems are a lot cheaper than Macs... Where is the benefit of buying a Mac???

good point on the coffee shop. it is a coffee shop for fucks sake. still, chill man. you're not helping yourself here. your main point is gonna be ignored by everyone with a glowing fruit and you're ultimately validating the title of the thread. everyone who knows half a shit about PCs and saving money already knows what you're saying without you saying it. i bought a $1200 Lenovo laptop in September. paid it off in March right before the interest kicked in... I could have spent 2400 and got... the same thing. these PC Mac threads are stupid and pointless. thats why some of us like to piss and shit all over them. you should too, but don't get it on your pants and seriously, don't get it on your face.

@McQ714
I work in the trucking industry and will agree there's no Apple products in site, except for the occasional iPod but I really wouldn't expect much different than the consumer standard for those peeps.
I also don't go to coffee shops and if I did I would get my coffee and gtfo. I don't find them the place to go to work on stuff or even chit chat. This is probably partially due to a paranoia about privacy. I don't want a bunch of randoms lurking about when I'm working on shit or even chatting. If I wanted to be somewhere public with a drink in hand I'd go to a bar and probably make a few new friends, but I wouldn't be busting out a laptop.
I could counter some other points but I'll just leave it at that. At least we see a few things eye to eye.
