they are indeed prissy. but that's not what bothers me most. and i could care less if they sneer, snicker, or judge me. it's the fact that they are stupid sheep. they say that macs are intended for the creative individuals. is the creativity fog within so thick that it clouds their judgment from the fact that they just spent their entire tax refund on a piece of gear they could've gotten for half the price if only they didn't care about the glowing apple on the back? a piece of gear that not only does it cost more, it ultimately gets the same results as the cheaper PC laptop. OS X does not sound warmer than Windows!!!

the question here become this... why is it so important to have that glowing apple on the back??? how fucking stupid do you have to be to not realize that you paid twice as much for computer components than you had to??? if the OS X operating system generally costs less than Windows, why are the computers more expensive? is there an 8-ball of coke waiting for you in the CD slot of a MBP??? is the protective sheet on the display actually LSD??? there is no proof that OS X is more stable than Windows, it does not run nearly as many programs as Windows, Windows systems can be built to run a lot faster than Macs, and Windows systems are a lot cheaper than Macs... Where is the benefit of buying a Mac???

I work in the trucking industry and will agree there's no Apple products in site, except for the occasional iPod but I really wouldn't expect much different than the consumer standard for those peeps.

I also don't go to coffee shops and if I did I would get my coffee and gtfo. I don't find them the place to go to work on stuff or even chit chat. This is probably partially due to a paranoia about privacy. I don't want a bunch of randoms lurking about when I'm working on shit or even chatting. If I wanted to be somewhere public with a drink in hand I'd go to a bar and probably make a few new friends, but I wouldn't be busting out a laptop.

I could counter some other points but I'll just leave it at that. At least we see a few things eye to eye.
