i feel sorry for green. he fucked up but the bigger issue is we didn't make more of our chances. i was pretty disappointed with the performance.
i hope capello gives him another chance. everyone makes mistakes, but when your the goalkeeper they are more obvious.

I managed to miss the Usa England match last night, but thanks to youtube...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvyKmffnRXc - just read the reports though and it does sound like England played subpar anyway, regardless of the gifted goal... Fair assessment? Are you English supporters more optimistic or pessimistic for your chances following this first match?

Hmmm... don't think there's much there with Slovenia & Algeria to trouble England or USA, tbh... that Slovenian (Slovene?) goal was also a strange goalkeeper error... looking forward to the Germany game tonight...
