better wait for a major stable update then for the next minor 9.0 update with a few extra plug-ins and extra functions.
ableton has focused the last years on "max for live" which should be a integrated part off the next update.

i had a dream they released it and it was full of ridiculous features that no one gave a shit about. i dont remember what the features where but i remember thinking "why the fuck did they not do cubase 6 style tempo mapping are they out of their minds"
its sad that i dream about software and then get pissed in my dream but it happened.
i really hope they get tempo mapping right!!!!
they could release sample librarys that are nothing but a collection of "vintage" referee whistles and i would be happy if they just get tempo mapping right!!!

also i hope they update the look of live. i really do. it was cool for almost ten years but now its time for something a little more modern. still 2 d but modern. maybe bigger buttons and flashy things. i dont know anymore. maybe ableton should include a therapist. it could start off by asking "what type of music do you want to do today" and you could respond with something like " i dont know... every thing is shit... every thing sounds like shit and its all been done its all just a big pile of poop shit... why am i even here.. i dont need therapy".

With Reason 6 news just coming out, all it does is make me more anxious to hear something regarding Live 9. Alas, I'm happy with Live 8, but I'd love to see some cool new features.

Reason 6 is coming out end of september with 64 bit rewire, which would mean Ableton needs to do something about that before september, or else I wouldn't be able to rewire Reason into Live. Any thoughts on this?

Install the 32-bit version of Reason 6.

Hey Henke I guess Live 9 must be far away, otherwise you wouldn't loose your time reading stupid forum posts?!
