We all go through this stage man, it'll pass and you'll be better for it. I was where you are, reading the Anarchists Cookbook and doing too much speed, blowing up federal mail boxes with pipe bombs. It felt good. But it's all about your individual relationships, in a country this big with enough right and left wing nuts to fuel fires for ages to come, we're lucky there's not battles for fucking toilet paper at the supermarket. Cause that's what I've been stocking up on, and when Armegeddon comes, I'm going to be clean as a whistle for a good solid 8 months.

I have been going through this stage for a very long time though (It has been something building up every since I was 11).. I dont think its a passing phase. I would like it to be a passing phase but almost every time I go out I am reminded of capitalism. I have never read the anarchists cookbook and hope I never do. I dont consider myself an anarchist, if I did I would not say we need a revolution I would say we need to end government. I see myself more as a Democratic Socialist who thinks government should not own anything only the people, or Just a Libertarian who thinks Corporations should be against the law.
I dont worry about stocking up on anything because I know if I had to I could live off the land like many people before me have.
Like I said though in another post If just corporations were abolished and the people voted on every single law (instead of representatives that push back useful laws for years just to push through ridiculous laws that a corporation paid for) then I may hate this current form of government a little less.
maybe if i was rich I also would care less. idk

Also like I said before, Lack of real relationships where most of the relationship is not spent over the phone or facebook but in real life would be nice also. Again, I feel families and friendships deteriorate more than ever due to how this economic system works.

I didn't even know about this till you posted... I looked all through there website but coulf not find an about us link.
what are they doing this for? is it just a joke is it real? what are they hoping to achieve? maybe the same things I want?

I've been working on some gnarly acoustic panels and traps for my studio so have had the sound of the wife watching tv as a backdrop instead of the usual beats n synths (don't do tv me, unless its Charley Borman or something of the same ilk)

A lot of people believe that to in order to stop this pattern of self abuse it will take a new evolutionary step in mankind, otherwise this will doom us eventually.

I don't agree, there are plenty of times when the goods exchanged are of equal value, and took the same amount of time to produce.
Real life example, I sometimes split 50/50 profit with another small business owner. We long ago recognized the other as having equal value and consciously don't try to make a "profit" off of the others work. The benefit of our combined value is reaped equally, this has led to ZERO issues whenever we do this as both of us are 100% invested in the success of the venture.

So how are things developing in Wall Street right now? They say they're inspired by the revolts in Egypt et al - but I don't quite see what they'll achieve, except publicity (which may of course be a good thing).

Last week, whilst i was sat in a bar a representative from BIGOILCOMPANY came into town and hired some of my friends to protect his company from some local people who don't like the fact they are spilling oil on their cropland making it useless. Two of them were killed by people from my town.

Because a group of marxist rebels has taken control of some jungles in our heartland i have to go into the jungle and fight to kill them. Food is scarce here because some of the guerillas grow drugs rather than crops as they are more profitable. Like many of my fellow countrymen i'll be lucky to see age 20.

Getting back to the subject topic, if an American revolution does materialize, I've got a buddy who runs a silk-screen operation and I think it would be cool to do a run of some of those Che Guevara style t-shirts except we could stick a face on there for someone say like Jerry Garcia or maybe Ron Paul. I'm thinking $17.95 a pop and they'd be "Da Bomb". These things would fly off of the shelf...maybe open like an eBay store or something, you dig? Thoughts??

Nah - i was just pointing out that (particularly violent) revolutions aren't actually that good for those people taking part - particularly in a country where the population is armed and can't agree on the best way to run the country. And like all revolutions that happen because of ideology tend to be bloody and at the end of the day it's the little people who bear the brunt of the casulaties - not the evil bastards ideologists and generals in the first place.

It could be worse - allow me to rephrase: - "maybe it could be a whole fuck load worse at least i live in a country with some form of stable government - even if it is in paralysis and won't risk taking actions to actually solve those issues because they either don't know how, are afraid of upsetting their supporters, or are completely fucking ideologically blind to what needs to be done - why don't i actually go out and make a positive political contribution - because after all, all actions are political and unless you can resolve something peaceably then things have a tendency to get out of control because human beings in revolutionary situations are short sighted selfish little animals who often can't see the wood for the trees through their own little bubbles or petty vengeances." might be a more apt but less pithy phrase.

For the record - as a form of protest - i support occupy wall street - however i'm not clear what their objectives are. And that appears to be the problem at the moment - it's easy to wield an AK47 and say "things have got to change" but unless you have a plan and support from the public - expect a whole fuck load of pointless waste of life.
