Re: Screenshots of Live 9
Plugins would be the mopst stable and therefore safest features to reveal.
Im hoping that there is a mode change for session automation recording, M4Live runtime and a new APC - APC90

Interface looks like more vector based now. Hopefully not only it will support Retina, zooming will look sharp on regular displays.
Re: Screenshots of Live 9
I see metronome button also have a menu next to it... Hopefully where you have settings for it (e.g. Record Only)
Re: Screenshots of Live 9
They said we would never see a 9. Meanwhile, out rolls the betas of Bitwig and the thing is a total, incomplete and largely non-functional mess.
I'm rather impressed with what I see in the video posted earlier. Although Ableton will probably never be my #1 DAW -- I'm more off an old dog and raised decades ago on analogue and therefore still very track-based -- but I'm going to upgrade to 9 sometime next year regardless. I see some real improvements in 9. It might even result in significantly more use before long. I keep telling myself I should embrace the whole clip-based approach much more, but old habits die hard, you know.

(Don't let Tone Deft hear you saying that mind, TTOZ. He'll call you a 'whiner'. In his book, it's only a problem if you allow it to be...)

Dope!
I'm hyped for EQ8 having a spectrum display now; been lusting for that for aaaaages.
Everything looks tight.

If it's real: I guess this is a specific promo for specific parts of Live 9, but the only thing that excites me is the new browser and the possibility of editing plug-ins/effects in a dedicated window where session view usually resides. Everything else just becomes stuff you can already do in some way or another with other tools/plug-ins. I mean, getting excited about a convolution reverb? Everyone and his brother includes a convolution reverb these days.
Live is seriously lacking in terms of MIDI editing, and it's certainly lacking in terms of automation and what you can do with tracks in arrangement view. Compare with something like Logic or MOTU and the editing options look very, very dated.
Hope this is real, though, and an announcement before Christmas would be nice - though not holding my breath, obviously.

Finally some news. Looks like they have really learnt alot from the FabFilter team. I was just about to buy the mastering bundle but definitely won't now.
