I just read this from our local freebie, Coachella Valley Weekly--it's the article's first paragraph:
"Opening the show for the infamous Reverend Horton heat at the Date Shed, there he stood: Wade Crawford, armed with a Pabst Blue Ribbon, a silver unmarked flask, a Martin DRS1 guitar and his "Country Trash" drummer.

Reverend Horton Heat is probably sponsored by PBR and sharing backstage.

Yeah, I don't live in such a bad place: We have a guy named Wade Crawford, Martin guitars still garner respect, we drink cheap beer because it's cheap, and to everyone here, Williamsburg is still in Virginia!
To be accurate though, the true working class drink in this area is "Chelada." If you don't know what that is then consider yourself blissfully ignorant

Used to be $3.50 a 12-pack back in the 90s. I don't remember much of the 90s.

I just wish it was cheaper!

personally I like stouts, and if I'm forced to drink something lighter I'll drink a Weissbier, even then I prefer the dark and moody looking ones.
Lager is just piss rebranded.

Very good indeed... And pricey...
Anyway drinking beer is like watching porn - almost there, but missing the main ingredient...
And all that after-beer-peeing.
It's so annoying to pretend while touring nightclubs with your pals that you actually pee to the toilet instead of the washbowl...
Good scotch, vodka or absinth in large amounts and you instantly feel the difference... You pee where you seat and nobody give a shit... Unless until the morning comes...
Skål!
