the workaround lets you overdub but doesn't record the overdubed notes to arrangement view . so lets hope they fix this bug in there next update.
Ok sorry jackson88 I missed your post

I will try in about an hour and tell you what is happening for me.

I think it is possible (unless you already tried and you say it is not).

When you say :

Are you talking about the PUSH record button, the one at the bottom left, are you? Cause I remember I use it yesterday to reproduce the bug in the video, and I'm nearly sure It can be turned off again.

I'll tell you my results

well it doesnt work that way.

I'll try the workaround with midi track, maybe it will be less complicated than duplicate the track.

I tried to push on and off the clip record button on PUSH (bottom left), it does not work
I tried to unarm / rearm the track using my mouse (what did jackson88 in fact), it does not work, in fact the track cannot really be unactivated (note that with push, the red track record button is less brighter than without push).
I tried to unarm / rearm arrangment button, it does not work

In fact I think I tried all combination of rec/arm/unarm nothing happend ...

I'll call them tomorrow to talk about that and to ask if they can provide a project example.

It does work.. here is what I did.

I recorded an 8 bar drum clip in Session.
Then hit the Arrange record switch in the menu bar.
Hit the space bar and tried to record over the drum loop into Arrange, I got silence.
Turned on/off and on again and I successfully recorded the clip (While Overdubbing) into the Arrange.

It does work and it is a bug!

EDIT
Further testing proves it to be very to say the least erratic. Almost unusable?..

recording to the clip was always possible its overdubbing directly to arrangement mode is restricted.

Okay guys, are you ready for a dope workaround?

Record enable the Session and Arrange buttons and hit the space bar. Play some notes while your clip records to the Arrange with the Overdubbed notes.

Your still recording /overdubing to thw same loop instead of recording to arrangement directly.the workaround your discribing isnt a work around.you dont have to press thw spacebar.. u can just press the session record button and you can overdub to the loop
