at tarekith, luxembourg is great for biking. (and banking).

This trip is almost entirely being funded by my parents’ timeshare from transportation to accommodations. So we have to go to where and when they have places to stay. That’s why we are trying to plan so far in advance and trying to pick the best (decent weather/less people) time of year. We'll even postpone the trip if we have to, to suit our requirements.

I'll never get that aproach to traveling. I mean sure, if you find out you hate it after you arrive, then leave. But in general you will just be stressed out by constantly traveling and adjusting and don't get a decent impression of anyone country/city.

If you have only 2 weeks of vacation (poor US sobs ), make that 2 max. 3 places to see. Europe is not Disneyland and each country/city is not just another ride.


If/when you hit Berlin, we could grab a beer or coffee somewhere if you'd like?!

me either. most of the travels i made were kind of adventures. once got stuck at the tsjech german border, between prague and dresden, for 6 or 7 hours, because there were heavy floods.

if venice is the main objective and you are going in oktober, then i would spent more time in italy.

assisi for example is a great city too.
