RENAME DIRECTLY ON CLIP!!
you can now right click on the clip, and rename it right there rather than going all the way down to the left hand side of the interface!
sounds small, but damn if i hadnt been asking for this for the past two years
thank you! beautiful!

So, can you save generator/effect presets within clips now?
Like, say you have one channel running operator, and you have one clip that you want to use with one operator preset, and then another clip that you want to use another operator preset, do you still have to change the preset manually when flipping between the clips?

Does this work with Legato? I really needed this feature a coupla days ago. It would be so cool to drag select a selection and choose that.jbible wrote:Yeah...where is that...would be fantastic.
Anyways...cool unexpected features.
Editable options for multiple clips. If you select multipl clips you can edit some of their options at the same time. Transpose, Detune, Clip Volume, Warp Style, warp, loop, clips color, groove, signature, hi-q, fade, ram, replace, fileanme
3ghz Pentium 4 (Prescott), XP Sp2, 1gig Ram, Dual Monitor with Matrox Millenium, MOTU Traveler, Event EZ8 Adat card. Also IBM THinkpad t40 1.6 1 gig ram
No unfortunately Legato wasnt one of the options that made itself available when selecting multiple clips.

What do you mean by that ? I'm curious: because when I record a clip, if I play with the modwheel for exemple, it is recorded in the clip enveloppe just as I played it.... Am I missing the point you're making somehow ?peeddrroo wrote:i tried it with no luck.borg wrote:hi testers!
any of you happened to try and record midi cc in session clips???
as far as i have seen, no reports of happy ones about this...
i guess this feature won't make it in live5... too bad...

what i mean (and i guess this was what borg was asking for) is that the mapped midi controlers aren't recorded.amo wrote:What do you mean by that ? if it is non-mapped midi CCs, they are recorded as any midi data, but as soon as the same midi CCs are mapped (using Ctrl-M), they are not recorded in clips anymore.
unless i'm wrong, which would be great news.
but aren't they recorded as automation enveloppe in the clip ? Like, if you map CC#1 to a parameter of an effect on the clip's track, and you record some movements, aren't they recorded as clip enveloppes ? I've never tried it yet....
ok, I just tried and it is recorded as automation in arranger, not in clip. I see your point now. Yes, it is quite disappointing not being able to choose somehow.....
