Is there no software that currently lets you extract the stems into 5 separate files?

Shouldn't any tool which is able to decode mp4 containers be able to extract them? Like Handbrake for example.

Kind of the opposite of what people are asking for here, but NI just released their new free stems creator software. Haven't checked it out yet.

IMO Traktor is better for DJing than Live so this should be cool for others who feel the same way and want to use their own productions in Traktor.

I worked out a way of doing this with the help of this guy's script:

basically, the script creates 5 flac (or any audio format) files (one for each track) and you can load them into Ableton (with identical warping on each) as described here: http://www.creatotronik.com/?q=node/41
