As a Push 2 user, I'm just hoping for a push mini that retains 16 pads, 8 knobs, and the same note repeat functionality in a compact form.
Their biggest potential market is users looking for a drum machine feel with their DAW, not necessarily a mass plugin integration like Maschine MK3, which is more gimmicky and slow once the library grows. I have the Maschine Mk3 sitting in a box, because while building is great, arranging totally sucks, and the audio drag....is a drag of time with existing issues not addressed.

I would die for an "Ableton Push Go": a battery-powered standalone Push that runs a touchscreen-friendly version of Ableton. Not unlike the MPC Live actually.
Speaking of a touchscreen-friendly version of Ableton, where is it anyway? With all the developments in hardware, running Ableton on an iPad or Surface tablet nowadays really shouldn't be a problem and would actually be awesome.

I would like a KB version of Push, with just two rows of pads for launching and drum sequencing.,

A push 3 would have to improve the browser and maybe add better screens ( hello maschine mk3). From maschine I miss the onboard arpegiator/chord generator ( maybe that would need a live 10 update too)
I could not care less about the audio interface, at least on the full size version. I would preffer a midi in/out and standalone midi operation ( to be used as a midi keyboard) with computer switched off.
A mini version with onboard audio interface for live situations could be nice though

Oh, shure, Push 3 will come..... But nobody knows when. Or what it will be like then. What I meant is that we have to wait and see......

After push 2 came out RIGHT AFTER i bought a push 1 (and was THAT MUCH better than push 1 it's like night and day) I understand being hesitant to pull the trigger on a push 2 when a push 3 could be weeks away for all we know, or days. Ended up selling my push 2 when I was in dire desperate need a few months back and now that I am a bit more flush again I'm once again wrestling with this scouring the internet for any rumors or breadcrumbs of info as to a push 3 coming out or if we're still with push 2 for a good long while still and I should go ahead and buy another one (I did love that thing).

PLEASE make a Push with:
- 16 channels
- 16 motorised faders, along with 16 encoders
- dedicated buttons for: Select, Arm, Mute, Solo
That's my dream controller.
Thanks,

Yes, for 16 channels and motorfaders etc, there are already third-party products available (not cheap, of course).
What makes Push so great is the interaction with Live - so a bigger screen with touch would be nice, especially since it is hard to implement a nice touch controller for a DAW in a more generic / third-party way.
A larger screen with touch would give many possibilities which can be extended with many different workflows / features in the future quite easily.
But I agree that I would prefer 16 rotary knobs, with display of what they are doing/controlling.
A scheme of push extenders (like a 16 Pad drum matrix, or just many knobs with screen, or faders, ...) would make sense, too, if they can be arranged nicely side by side.
