Use:

Meta DJ

Flip it by putting the "DJ" moniker in the back and use the word Meta to describe "beyond" or "above" or "abstracted from".

I was going to use it, but I like my semi corny name that is part tribute to Mantronik and it uses part of my real name, rob.

:)

my real name is Adonis Ducksworth but it's easier to go by Adonis but when my name gets put on a flyer it's DJ Adonis

my mom calls me Don

there was a time when having the DJ in front of your name ment alot - still does in my book
Yeah Adonis, you're one of the few blessed with a DJ ready first name. I bet you didn't even consider DJ Ducksworthy, eh?

You know, I bet it's mostly DJish people who arn't cool with the DJ prefix. The public still likes it. In fact, the public got annoyed by the one-name DJ-less Dj names. No one can forget the Goldie / Trickie backlash from a few years back.

But I can understand that putting DJ in your name may be misleading if your not spinning records. My show is more about my music, and playing Ableton like an instrument. Hmmm...

Good:

JusMouse (born from when my freind Mouse became a DJ. People would ask him his DJ name, he'd say "Mouse", they'd say "DJ Mouse?", and he'd say "No, just Mouse.")

Better:

DJ Orange Alert (MC PaulBarman's DJ)

Best:

DJ From Full House (credit: Homestarrunner)

Let's see? My pet/steat name would be DJ Sticky Ashberry.... I actually like, and think it would fit my DJ style the DJ name generator one though, DJ Warped.

Worst DJ names is too long.

I like these ones though

DJ Spooky

Dangermouse

DJ Oblique ( Another local Seattle DJ )

DJ Pink Tutu is actuality pretty good IMO, besides it's always nice to just shove an insult back in somebody's face! 8)

How about the name of your first pet,
followed by the name of the street
you grew up on?
LOL - this is a fantastic idea! I'm DJ Omar Whiteoak.

Wow, in all the time I've spent sweating a DJ name, these people have located a new planet and, yes, even named it.

Looks like DJ 2003 UB313 is taken.

Lets see.
My pet/street combo would be something like DJ Tolin Gestido. Not bad Huh?

I agree, DJ "something" kinda sucks, take the DJ thingie away. It imposes something on you, like you can only spin but not make any music at all

I just shortened my name, and got my alter ego.

Another cool idea I had was spinning with a Darth Vader costume, that would be just hilarious... :?:

Not taking yourself too seriously is fun...

AND YES; JICHAEL MACKSON rules as a name!!!

And a few Spanish DJ names if you fancy that:

DJ Pajero (DJ wanker)
DJ Puto (DJ faggot)
DJ Hijo de Puta (DJ son of a bi...)
DJ Don Juan (When someone date lots of ladies, we call him a "Don Juan", which would translate as "MR Juan"...go figure)
DJ Borracho (DJ Drunk)

You want bad DJ names? Gotcha. Here are a few especially unfortunate choices.

DJ 1960s Sitcom Rerun
DJ What's Wrong With U Peepz
DJ Lather Rinse Repeat
DJ Is This Microphone On
DJ Severely Underpaid
DJ Wanna See Photos of My Grandkids
DJ Desperate for Respect
DJ Bananas in Pajamas
DJ Rodney Dangerfield's Illegitimate Kid
DJ Thoris <--[for Edgar Rice Burroughs fans]
DJ Coulda Been a Contendah
DJ Daddy Bought Me These Decks

Hope these help!
