Ableton abandoning the G5 ?

All you say is weird. If i make music with 2 blips i can use a 386 running 8mb ram. So you can "get stuff" done. I know your not running 30 audio tracks 6 virtual synth and tons of eq and compresor 3 space revrb with latency on which i can do easi in logic on a dual g5.

Dude. These are some very different reverbs. Also: Logic is not a realtime tool in by any means. You can't even bounce two f'n tracks at the same time!

By pro 7, do they mean problematic prostate protrusions upon progressively protracting prohibitive prom-music?

As far as reverbs are concerned! Reverbs are all different things all together!
While I could concievably run one hundred instances of it on my G5 at once, I doubt that my system would be happy generating massive, dynamic, real-time adjustments to several parameters.

Also, Logic is specifically built to work effectively on a G5.

tell me one thing live can do that other software cannot. Keep in your mind I talk about the end result not the method. Prove me wrong

The end result is that you will get sound.

All DAW's can be used to make music in. But they all handle it in a different way.
