house, breakbeat, dub, electro, glitch, drum n' bass, deep bass, techno, industrial, ambient, progressive....
these styles have all come up quite a bit in discussions/ descriptions...
seems like most folks are taking what they like from various styles and doing their own thing, which says alot about live!
* i have reserved one spot should any women come foreward to participate...waiting on a reply or two right now.
i really want this to be as diverse as possible..*
cheers

I'm in Annapolis. I might be able to make it. I could do 70's songs karaoke. (Just kidding--I don't want you put me in for a slot in response to a joke.)
Definitely need some woman(en) to contribute.
BTW. Bob Mould (remember Sugar and Husker Du?) does this think called Blowoff at 0930 club. I think one is coming up in early January. He uses Live 5. You might want to check that out.

Baltimore here. Catonsville to be exact. Love live. I used it on the road last year and am not finally getting back to it. A user group would be great.

Kenfen

College Park User Group Meeting Information
Location:
Univeristy Of Maryland College Park
Tawes Fine Arts Building (Building#141)
Room 0241
Date Time:
April, 8. 2006
Approximately 4-8PM
Campus map can be found at:
http://www.ling.umd.edu/cuny2004/2003PDFMap.pdf
Details:
Sorry, I know the map is small, but it can still be usefull.
Tawes can be found in square G3. Please park in lot 1B.
As you face Tawes theatre you will notice large columns
at the entrance, look to the left and find the blue campus
emergency phone on the corner. Go to that phone and
follow the short road up to the north side of the building
(it's a loading dock/small parking lot labeled a*1). The
meeting room is directly accesible from this parking lot.
I will leave the door open and I will play some music
so you can't miss it. Please don't park in the loading dock,
you might get ticketed or towed.
If you are bringing heavy gear/stuff, don't worry, I have a good
cart and the room is accessible from the ground floor. Just
park in lot 1B, come and find us, and you can take the cart
to your car to unload. Peace of cake, I promise.
If you have any questions or need help the day of the meeting,
please call my cell at 410.908.8308
Look forward to jamming with you soon

Andy
