"To Be An Angle BLind..." is definitely my favorite Tear Garden album.
Cool that there's so many people here into this type of stuff. I think I have every Subconcious Records release so far, this stuff is what electronic music is about.

Perhaps the most embarassing thing I ever did was use the entire Lyrics from "Pheonix" as a yearbook quote.

"just what guides these hands when they are shaking with Frustration? What whispers in the sand when all seems desperation... seize the future..." -I love that guy.
I once made a cathartic portrait of a malicious ex out of the lyrics to SK's Dogsh*t. It wasn't her entire body, actually it was just her face...

I remmember sharing it with her one day when she was trying to use me as a booty-call. I was actually so idealistic and naive that I thought she might concentrate on the deeper sentiments of it all. Needless to say, I inadvertantly rid myself of the presence of a very nasty little girl. If I can find the image I'll post it!
Back on topic: Years Later I pulled the "To be an Angel Blind..." off of the web, after having scratched my cd to death, and was playing this one song that goes "No ropes no strings, no obligations, I don't own you be quite sure you don't own me." as my live in girl friend came home. I was so engrossed in it that I left it playing, perhaps even singing along. Days later we broke up!
I'm sort of scared of listening to it now!
Come to think of it, both of these girls were crazy Irish girls. There it is fellows! If you ever have need to eliminate any extra crazy Irish girls from your life...

Yeah, lock yourself in your studio/room, and throw away the key.
I've only heard Journey to the Center of the Bowl. Are the other albums worth grabbing if you enjoyed Journey....?
I found it at this store called Media Play in Buffalo NY, for less than $5. This place was kinda like a trashy Borders with a completely unorganized used cd section. I also found the soundtrack for the movie "Killing Zoe" which is pretty damn good.
Journey was the most polished by far, but "Call the Ambulance... Before I Hurt Myself" has its own charm. "Call the Ambulance..." sounds like discarded scraps from skinny puppy songs that were too dorky or happy. Also some twisted jamaican references.

Sounds like a 50/50 mix between Ohgr's and Cevin Key's solo projects fused together. I have a feeling this is going to be better than "The Greater Wrong of Right"
Yay!, new alblum=another tour! Don't forget your earplugs

in my opinion, they're one of the most inspirational bands (of that calibre) in the industry, very underrated compared to nine inch nails (and im sick of how people consider nin to be "more industrial than thou").
same goes with kmfdm!

I like ambentZ so far from the samples. There last issue was pretty sick. Seeing them perform tracks off of vivsect their last tour was off the chain.

thats what they said about the greater wrong of the right, this one however is a new direction, a new puppy, no mash ups of individual materials coming together.
so far from the snippets i think this cd will blow the doors off the last one. the end of january cant come fast enough!
the most influential, legendary band of its time still delivering almost 2 decades later!!!!
