Build quality, compact size, features for price (I have a LV1, it's almost perfect for what I want), great company to deal with...

Lack of USB connection (it's just a midi device) is a minor quibble.

I also have a UC17 and a UC33 and I much much prefer the LV1.

Small, sturdy, designed for Ableton Live, has the Ableton look&feel, very well thought out, the additon of endless pots and LEDs is really what would make me get the new generation but I'll stick to the old ones I've got.

Yeah, i was looking at them...The fact that they were specifically designed for Live seems a real plus...No stickers on the controller...just look at the factory labels...No USB is a pity.

As for endless encoders, my remote25 has them, for some reason I prefer the absolute ones...I think the endless jump a bit...

How much? Are they available right now? How much time for delivery to, let's say, spain (i have friends there)?

Didn't think the Remotes took MIDI feedback back from Live or sent relative messages, so I doubt they're truly "endless." My X-Station has the same problem, but other than that I love Novation stuff. I still think their editor is the best.
I think the Faderfox is in a different league, though, b/c its design starts from the software instead of just adding to the old MIDI hardware paradigm.
I just wish Mathias was also offering a larger Cadillac option that felt more like the DJ console of the future. Fiddling with microscopic interfaces isn't everyone's cup of tea. I still want the DJ2, though…

I'm going to be picking up the LV2 asap.

Aside from how I think this will be a perfect (besides having to use a midi interface) controller, I am really impressed by the fact that Mathias isn't TAKING YOUR MONEY NOW AND MAKING YOU WAIT!!! That speaks volumes about a company such as Faderfox! Much appreaciated...

well they are small(very), battery powered, the lx1 had 64 buttons and 4 banks (essentially) so you could have 256 button controlls basically, where the remote 25 only has 24 keys.... they are also cheaper...and l3e+ !!!! heh

I was just of curious about Faderfoxes, since you cant try them anywhere bought the only still available-LX1. Big surprise, one of very few well done controllers, by somebody with a brain, simple but efficient. Very German, like Porsche or Benz( behringers are Kia or Huyndai of audio world) does what it is suppose to do, without idiotic extras and probably your grandson will be still able to use it.
Resonably priced, if you would make something similar DIY it would cost more
Will definitely get one or 2 more..
p.s. only regret - I didnt buy it earlier, LX is a must for anyone who uses loops, specially live.
