yo why can't we all just hold hands in the toxic rain of acidic flames here on the live forum. Live (and life) is good! The fact that we can debate with each other from Moscow, Burkina Faso, to Bermuda or Kansas city, that is awesome enough....

So, I am going to make some music now.

Peace

Here here....... now.............
Lets start a flame war against "other" computer brands..
what about..

My AMD beats your Intel ..oh that ones been done what about

My IBM kicks the ass of your Gateway
My Dell smells bad but my Sony's worse cause it is so hot
MY Toshiba will smoke you Acer especially when over clocked
My core duo Intel Mac intel is faster than your Acer core duo

shall we all continue now ?

or maybe we should ignore the hardware and say

OSX sucks compared to Windows 98 on any hardware

or for a twist OSX runs faster on my AMD Box than on your Mac intel

The Mac PC one is getting old but see we have soooo many more possibilities we havn't really looked ino yet..

as i was making a beat i was actually thinking about this thread and wondering what it would be like if Abe released live 6 for linux as well. Highly unlikely I know, but couldn't help but imagine. Okay, bye.. :D

actually it probably would be a big hit I have used Linux and it is very stable I tried linux for a while a 18 months ago and then tried Mac and found it was kind of Linux that was easy an d just worked Now there is an interesting possibility of have an x86 system with Windows Linux and OSX all on the same system ... now wouildnt that be interesting ..
I see there is already Linux for the new Intel's and it wont be long I imaging that it might have all 3 OS's

You could probably run Live on a windows emulator in Linux, but I've no idea what sort of performance hit you would have to take doing this. I haven't used Linux for years, and it was just a brief, geeky fetish for me when I did.

It would be really interesting if Apple decided to release an OS to compete directly with Windows. I've NFI whether or not this could be more likely to ever happen now that Apple have moved to Intel CPU's, but it'd be great to see Big Gatesy finally given some real competition though. The old 'yeah man, Linux will topple Winblow$ in a couple of years' thing never seemed to eventuate, unfortunately.

why's that ? would you prefer it out here illegally or supported ? I just wondered why you wouldn't like it off the shelf that is if it was done well and supported well.
