create an audio track, choose the track the impulse is on as it's input, in the drop down menu underneath where you chose the track choose the drumdarthbrooklyn wrote:I like impulse but the only concern i have is that i cant figure out how to apply effects to just one drum out of eight.. For ex, I want to reverb the Snare drum but not the whole kit... Am i missing something? I am a newb to live so i hope you more experienced guys can enlighten me

Thanks.. While that solves the prob, i think it would be more efficient if they allowed you to drop in effects to each pad independently.... maybe in a future release...create an audio track, choose the track the impulse is on as it's input, in the drop down menu underneath where you chose the track choose the drum
I doubt we'll see that, it's not the norm when it comes to processing individual hits in samplers. IMO, the next logical step is to allow multiple pads to be sent to the same audio track - so for example you wouldn't need two audio sends for both open and closed HH's. Doing the effecting seperately outside of Impulse gives more flexibility.darthbrooklyn wrote:Thanks..
