this is my setup for a live drum'n'bass thing i've started called kamuku. no live shots yet...still only in the rehearsal stage.
novation ks4 synth.
my left: yamaha mg10fx mixer.
centre: boss sp505 sampler.
right: nord micro.
no ableton for me in this project!
everything except for the stand fits into the roadcase. the roadcase has wheels...much easier setup.
Would you mind elaborating on your case set up? Is it an openable trunk case and then you put on a keyboard stand set quite low and then where do you clip the second tier to ?

I have a really similar sized rig and i like what you've done ?

Do you know where you got the road case from ?
Macbook 1.83ghz. Ableton Live 8 :-). Guitars and keys and retro sh*t.

hey chrisedmo.
it is a pioneer rc3 roadcase http://www.storedj.com.au/products/product.php?id=2014
i bought it off ebay. it's made for a couple of cdj1000's and a djm mixer. i just altered the inside to suit my own needs.

the keyboard stand is just a typical 3 tier one like this. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/BRAND-NEW-3-TIER ... dZViewItem
i took the 3rd tier off as i dont need it.

the whole system works well for my needs...

All the pics I can find are of me hunched over a laptop sweating and not really of the gear. Hrm.

Here's an old one of a rig I used live on the radio. Many of me hunched on my myspace.

The videoguy uses a triggerfinger a wiimote, 2 cameras and a laptop and is on stage with us.

the symbols are from reacTIVision and work as a kind of midi controller when you hold them into a camera. Sometimes we give them to the audience, and let them make noise:

I have that glockenspiel - got it for under $15 and it sounds great.

Not any more! - I use abl2 now for my acid needs - I used to use an all-hardware setup (MPC2000, MPC2000XL, TB303, SH09, 1604VLZ, Compounder), but I'm strictly digital now!

I also use abl2. Not bad for a soft.

Oooh, an SH09. Do you miss any of your old hardware kit?

I've been looking at some older Roland synths, and the SH09 is supposed to be great for bass. How did you find it ollyb303?

What has replaced your bass sound in the digital world?

Thanks.
