I'd have to say that Time after Time has my favorite chord progression of all time. It's been overused throughout the decades, but it's still good every time.

Dead Can Dance is the audio on the clip - but the video itself is taken from a remarkable film called 'Baraka' - many people aren't familiar with it but I guarantee you'll recognise many sequences from it. Made by the guy who did "Koyaanisquasti" iirc.

飽和 from the soundtrack to "all about lily chou chou" gets me. the lyrics are kind of cheese (especially if you think about them in english), but it's personal. so does アラベスク from the same album. i have no idea what that one's about - i don't even know what language it's in. the beat was kind of a musical turning point for me - pure minimalism - it takes a lot of skill to make a kick-kick-hat-hat interesting for 5 minutes.
it's interesting how something that can fuck one person up for a day can leave another person completely unscathed...
