I use both...I prefer my PC tbh....I just find OSX to be painfully slow at times...

I used to do PC´s, i switch to Mac a month ago, now i do Mac 90 % percent of my time

The other way around, i`ve been on mac for 14 years, my G5 broke and it would have been so horrible expensive to get it fixed, i switched to a new PC at the same costs. And so far everythings running perfect, i`m very glad with it...

Interesting statistic, I my opinion pure market laws. Unlike in the past, now Mac delivers more for the money, a pc notebook to match MBP quality costs mostly more. The cheaper pc notebooks compromise lots that most of buyers are not aware of. The low end is also nicely covered Macbooks are sleak boxes. For same money you can get only ugly ass junk.
A knowledgeable buyer might save some money and still find reliable pc notebook out of the confusing jungle of thousands of models.
At any given moment you have to take 2-3 weeks, lots of hours of research while buying Apple is simple,you know how much you can spend, you know what you can get for it.

There´s no money that save the time that i spend fixing problems in pc, and my time is money, that´s the main reason that i switch to mac

Even when I switch my laptop to a mac I will keep the desktop PC.

It's true what rikhray says about the build quality of PC laptops versus Mac laptops ... my decision to go mac laptop is mainly about build quality for price more than the OS.
My desktop PC is like a tank and I am one of those perverts who likes swapping out his CPU / Motherboard / understands how to ruin his computer using the bios. So a PC desktop is fine for many years.

As a computer guy I get called in to fix many mac problems, its not true they have no problems and are user-proof. Perhaps it's just my friends, but every single Mac I can think of has some kind of problem or other right now. (no onboard sound, no network, screen problem, paint falls off, OSX incompatible with older video device, ect)

Firstly, I'd have to say that a lot of people buying Apple have no idea what they are getting.

I do agree that to buy a PC you have to do at least 2-3 weeks of research though. Having done that myself I can say you'd be surprised at how little separates an MBP from even a mid priced Dell in the hardware stakes. So saying you get more for your money from a mac seems laughable to me.

What you do get for your money with a mac that differentiates it from PC is OSX...and a bit more sex appeal

For me, it's which OS is better... and thats down to personal taste.
