big up b0unce
I, being of Little Brain, would be most grateful for you to do so. However in the spirit of keeping our forum all Neat and Tidy, would you mind containing the articles to one thread? This way when a user gets to the General page it's easier to see the topics that interest most Live users/musicians, as opposed to the few who feel most passionate and post the most frequently.b0unce wrote:That's not what I said, DICKHEAD, I merely requested he CONTAIN his peddling to one thread. Backlash, so anyways I'm adaptable - In the interest of balance I'm going to be posting articles for a while as long as it seems relevant.Tone Deft wrote: great back into the dumbass flame wars... is this why bounce wanted breqs to chill on the afghanistan threads?
I can take it or leave it, majority rules!
Hey, I got burned for making that same request rozling...so NO....I wont be keeping the articles confined to one thread. And when you copy/paste an article its generally protocol to post a direct link for dates, authors, bias etc, which I did. Are you trying to tell me adding a DATE to the subject of this thread would have changed your opinion one way or the other ? "oh, an article on the torture of afghani people by occupational forces published in 2004 - I shant be clicking on that! Irrelevant! Garbage! crybabies get over it!" .... "oh, an article on the torture of afghani people by occupational forces published in 2006 - Interesting"rozling wrote: I, being of Little Brain, would be most grateful for you to do so. When you copy and paste an article with the headline as the thread title, it's generally assumed that what follows is a fresh report unless indicated otherwise. A quick line at the top indicating date/time/source is all that's needed to avoid such misunderstandings. Remember that Live users who aren't as bright as yourself get Easily Confused!
Thanks.
I'm amazed you managed to interpret my posts as argument! You seem desparate for a good shouting matchb0unce wrote:Hey, I got burned for making that same request rozling...so NO....I wont be keeping the articles confined to one thread. you couldn't be that fickle, its just a weak argument to clutch at. I suspected a couple of wankers might refute the contents of the article based on the date, anti-props to Tone Deft for making such a meal out of it.

I'm simply asking you politely to keep these articles to as few threads as possible. You have asked another member to do the same, in your own words to 'minimise shite'. By making this request, acknowledging OT Afghani threads as an annoyance and then filling up the first page with them, you are demonstrating a spiteful attitude towards the forum in General.
Asking me whether I am 'trying' to tell you something suggests that I can't just tell you outright. Believe me I have no problem doing that, and I don't need to resort to name-calling to convey my point.
We're big boys and girls, we don't need you bringing news headlines in here in case we 'forget'. If you want to, cool - but filling up this place with these threads because you got 'burned' (i.e. you received some sharp responses to your incendiary post) is childish and does no-one any good.
Hey, I dont care. If the general concensus is 'anything goes' ...then, anything goes. The only thing thats annoying is I can refrain from starting these threads and others cant/wont - I will go with the flow. 'Filling' the board up with threads ? ...Its been two threads over two days. Woah, someone call the copsrozling wrote:I'm amazed you managed to interpret my posts as argument! Interesting,AlexZello wrote:What do you think of Obadiah Shoher's views on the Middle East conflict? One can argue, of course, that Shoher is ultra-right, but his followers are far from being a marginal group. Also, he rejects Jewish moralistic reasoning - that's alone is highly unusual for the Israeli right. And he is very influential here in Israel. So what do you think?
and people who enter a retard race long after it's finished are ten times more retarded than the other retards in the retard race. retard.Huey wrote:The beauty of it all. The internet. People arguing over their beliefs, others attacking them because they have different beliefs. Others quoting websites run by organizations with agendas that they spoon feed the poor lemmings who get suckered into their cause. The so called "people who do their research" then posting whatever "Truths and Facts" they read from the Mother Ship website they have be brainwashed by. This is the kind of thread that ruins music forums. 50 or so regular posters with 100 different opinions. I don't have the picture or I would post it, but it is a picture of a mentally retarded boy crossing the finish line of a Special Olympics race. The caption reads "Arguing on the Internet is like running a race in the Special Olympics. Whether you win or lose.....you are still Retarded" Instead of arguing over 4 year old news, why don't the whinners and complainers posting their dissatisfactions about America or the World, pack a bag.....join the Peace Corp or some other humanitarian group and head over to save the oppressed and starving of the world, and stop arguing in a music forum. Same story....You whine but will do nothing to better the situation.
