Well, I have a lot of hardware synths, both analogue, digital and hybrids. The sound quality of softsynths used to be an issue, especially combined with the fact that the soft synths generally had less possibilities when it comes to modulation sources and routings. Please note that I said used to. In my humble oppinion, synths like FabFilter Twin and NI Massive hold their own very well when compared to synths like my Waldorf Pulse or MicroMoog. Do they sound the same? No, definitely not. Do they sound worse? In my oppinion, no, they sound different...
Live + M4L, MacBookPro & Ultralite mk3. Plugins from Softube, Soundtoys, Eventide, 2CAudio, Cytomic, AudioDamage, OhmForce, FabFilter, SonicCharge, Waves, MadronaLabs, NI and ExpertSleepers. Oh, and a bunch of hardware... =D

It sucks here in China. Gear is crazy overpriced and rare...
The irony! They make all that cheap stuff to export yet you can't get the gear over there!

Still you have Shanghai girls to console you
