Works great!!!
Just the simple things such as the 3 bar count-in are still there and the ugly colors of the clips. And also no template for the xiosynth.
But otherwise, great job

I am still having problems with cpu spikes and slitches when using the Novation Remote 25SL. If i turn this device off and load Live, there is no problem at all, only when using the SL.
Anyone else still having this? It's driving me mad!!!

yup - me too
I'm not sure but I think the abes and novation are still working on a fix
- 7.02 just fixed the default Directmusic option back to MME. Maybe someone else can confirm this?

No!
1. 7.02 will
not switch your port types to MME, you need to do it yourself! It only default to MME when you deleted your old preferences files.
2. There were changes to the MME Midi code and likely some other stuff that should help with the Remote SL problems.
Nevertheless the Midi engine is still a mess, but it's much better with MME than in 7.01.

Have to change them manually to MME if you had your SL using Directmusic in version 7.01.
7.02 is better with SL but far from perfect. Still getting pops when using mouse to adjust parameters. Still odd crackle.
Better, but not fixed.

Meh!I just got rid of my remote zero, not cos of the problems just changing my setup, but given they are still there i'm glad i did.I also have a padkontrol with the native kontrol software which is the best control for live i've usedThe only thing it doesn't do is map vsts bu it has instant mappping.I was goin to get a nocturne when they come out but i think i'll wait and see how it is with the new automap first..Maybe its worth looking at alternatives in the meantime until they get sorted..

Thanks for the community! The glitching with my Remote 37 SL is driving me mad also. I upgraded to 7.02 and still the same.
However, I noted this:
1. 7.02 will not switch your port types to MME, you need to do it yourself! It only default to MME when you deleted your old preferences files.
Would someone be kind enough to let me know how to switch port types? Also, if I switch the port type, will it be switched for my other audio applications as well?
I do hope the switch will resolve my difficulties with Live and Remote SL.

Glad it's working better for some people though

Preview Always Synced To Song- Please help

"There is a ‘PreviewAlwaysSyncedToSong’ entry you can use in the Options.txt file. With that option, Live does not use heuristics to determine the clip tempo when song is not running for pre-listening in the browser. "
Sorry, How do we implement this?
Please explain

I take this back! Midi messages are getting dropped/confused all over the shop. compared to the templates I had to use before, the control surface support is extremely patchy.. rotating the track select pot produces random skips/jumps and even starts moving clip location, something that should be controlled by a completely separate pot.
what a disappointment after waiting so long.. as it stands, it looks like I will be stuck using template project files

OMG control surface support for Faderfox controllers - I didn't see that coming. A VERY pleasant surprise! Now I'm taking it back out of the closet

That's the good thing about midi-controllers: Sometimes they're like wine – getting better with age
