hardware can do it yes
the apc could but i don't know how thats implemented

all i know about the maschine is it has static control (unchanging) buttons like hardware

it would be easier if it was just the screen tho and no other controller was needed except maybe d-beams and knobs :D

i was thinking about knobs on multitouch surfaces to make up for the flatness and i realized you could have some sort of suction cup on the bottom of portable knobs with a light sensor that transmits the data into the computer when you place it on the screen

just a thought :D

I need a mixing desk, and a simple recorder.
Does anyone use a good simple hard disk recorder?
For some reason, I would prefer not to even have to turn on the computer at all.
i have a faderfox controller, and I suppose I could set it up to record/stop/loop etc, and STAY aWAY FROM THE SCREEN! Ill try it tonight. How exciting.

Thanks

Yeah it was a bit underwhelming. I was looking for a synth video i saw but i hadn't seen anything like that before to that extent, didn't know the technology had come this far. I think this was the video i had seen before: http://matrixsynth.blogspot.com/2008/07 ... meter.html
