Well, who need Frankfurt when you've got the net: 8)

New HDSPe MADIface - 128-Channel MADI ExpressCard for notebook computers

New HDSPe RayDAT - 72-Channel ADAT/AES PCI Express Card
Nothing tactile, but especially the latter one looks interesting (hopefully it wont stay a paperlaunch for several months).

I checked the free seminars offered by Neumann and find those quite interesting. These may be a good reason to drive to Frankfurt.

This is another one of those "Gimme my stuff or I'll shoot the bunny" ploys isn't it?

Just go already
Check out the new Stanton Decks and let us know if they work with Max 5.
Go to the Ableton stand and see what this is all about:

And last but not least... East-German girls are hot... Go clubbing!!!!

No, it is not. This is a "I've never been to Musikmesse before, please some people who have been there could you tell me if it's worth driving all the long way, paying for gas and entrance, trying to get a ticket for the non-public days to avoid running around overcrowded fair-grounds". This is just a simple and humble question about what Musikmesse is like. You know, like "Hey, share some experience with me, I'm a noob!" Really folks, you need to take a break from forums (try one month), it helps!

I'd say it's definately worth it! Everyone gathers at the u-he booth and has a good time in Hall 5.1 A 75 8)

This time we've got a really cool "newspaper" and more sofa space than last year:

See you there,

Awesome headline.
You need to get your team of reporters working on a very important issue: "Known Issues list: Why do we even have to ask?".
I know a little Berlin based company who should be grilled on this subject.

The bigger they are, the smaller the difficulty of publishing a "known issues" list gets ;)

But my logic may be flawed....

Hey Urs, nice to see you around. I'm currently checking into ZebraCM and Zebralette and feel tempted to send you some nice dinoraur pictures for a full version. But I better spend my little money for a better mic/converter combination first before buying any more software.

MFM2 also looks great, do you have any experience with using it for vocals, especially the distortion and delay?

Not yet, even though my wife is a singer... my guitarist friends are quite happy with it though, mainly because of the ducking delays I think. I've planned to create some examples tunes for guitar and vocals somewhen after Messe...

Cheers,

;) Urs

I downloaded the demo and will give it a test-run to see how nicely my vocals can be destroyed and enhanced by it. :D
