for anyone who hasnt signed up to the group but is interested I just posted up a demo of Live <-> Max/MSP that works on both PC and MAC 8O

Test it? I'm cleaning up all the drool now from during my test.
And it might take an hour or 2 to recover from the near hearth attack. :lol:

Just wanted to give yall a heads up that mdk has implemented some of the Live API via MIDI and has made some Max/MSP objects/patches to help facilitate communication with the two...Lemur heads definately should check this out as there is a max patch that grabs clip names in the downloaded package...

HI API Gurus,
I`m ricardo and I can`t do anything like programing... sorry...:(

I have been using monome with livestep and I just descovery the monodeck clip matrix.I will love to have something like it on monome, somehing more simple...Like 5 rows only.

There are someone that can do it? Is it possible?

If you're signed up to the Monome forum, tell them that /dev/stderr and /dev/stdout are just logs. No need to worry about that.
You can even "comment out" the line that creates these files. I believe thats covered on the google group.

I did not get the led response yet, but it defenitively laung clips.

The above could easily be ported to the Monome. I thought thats what the Monome basic did? Personally, I have no need for something like the monodeck clip grid, for one, most of my sets dont really have any empty slots. And two, If I learned anything from the Monome, its that its not just about firing clips, its about getting inside of clips. Thats what Im working on...
