I'm thinking just a simple mode selector button. Repitch or TimeStretch.

If the mode is set to TimeStretch, playing different pitches doesn't not change the length of the sample. Then you add one stretch or speed knob, like in impulse which changes the duration of the sample(s).

That's it really. Same thing as exists in Kontakt, SampleTank and just about any other sampler.

This would finally let us use sampler with drum racks and have the old stretch feature back which is so great from impulse, one of their oldest devices....

Just a simple timestretch mode.

Hate having to use Kontakt for this.

Kontakt is heavy. If you like heavy use Kontakt. I'd like low CPU usage.

I've been following this topic with interest.

So if you can't timestretch samples in Sampler, what other plugin or soft sampler can you use?
