What gave you the idea that I come from somewhere so different from you? That I currently live in San Francsico? Operating on assumptions and guesses is a dangerous habit. It's how misinformation is spread. Case-in-point: see above.

One question: Are you for the draft or against it? It sounds like you're angry because you think you'd be targeted, but then chastise me as a likely "deserter." The truth is that I would never risk my life for an American military endeavor that I didn't whole-heartedly believe in. And guess what - you can do the same!

I'm 100% against the draft. I don't want to go over and die! Of course, if push came to shove, I'd go over there and fight simply because what else am I going to do? Be thrown in jail? Fuck that. I'd take a chance at getting blown to bits versus being thrown in a prison cell for a few years and coming out of it a cowardly bitch. I suppose if I did run away I could always use the angle that I felt being butt fucked in a Cleveland prison was the most "liberating experience of my life... a direct protest against the war in Iran yadda yadda yadda." I could probably come out of it and write a book, bag a hot liberal girl (the potential of that statement being an oxymoron is to high to resist) and maybe even watch the made-for-tv movie of being a draft dodger. I could also run for President!

Truth be told I'd rather just go and get it over with. Come home and get spit on. Beats taking it in the ass from Bubba...

the funny thing about nuclear non-proliferation is nuclear powers telling others that they're not entitled to what the nuclear powers don't want to give up. every kid in kindergarten can make more sense and has a more developed sense of justice...

...not that I want iran to have nuclear weapons, it's just a joke to say they're not allowed to when a select few other countries want to hold on to theirs...(a very cynical joke, but a joke non the less)
